Cell Phone and Tardy Policy

Cell phones should be put away - in your bag, not your pocket -  during the class period. Never bring your phone on stage. If you are using your phone during the class period, you will be asked once to put it away. The second time you are found using your phone during class, you will store your phone in the locked filing cabinet for the remainder of the class period.

We abide by the school-wide tardy policy, as outlined below, and as is included in your AHS student handbook:

A tardy is defined as not being present in the room when the bell rings.
Tardies 1-4: Parent contact
Tardy 5: Parent contact, lunch detention
Tardy 6: Parent contact, 2 lunch detentions
Tardy 7: Parent contact, 3 lunch detentions
Tardy 8: One class period of in school suspension
Tardy 9: One full day of in school suspension and possible suspension of lunch pass
